Hulger goes Bluetooth
We've always been down with the retro
handsets from Hulger (known as Pokia
until you-know-who decided they didn't like the name), but the one historically accurate feature that we can do without
is that long, snaking cord. So, we're about ready to send Hulger $150 for their Bluetooth-enabled PIP and Penelope
phones. The Penelope sports Hulger's trademark bulkiness, while the PIP has a streamlined look to it that may win
converts looking for sleek lines, a hot yellow finish and a smaller footprint.

What would Lord Voldemort have against Pokia?
LMMFAO, SuperStructure. Maybe we're dorks, but it's still hilarious.
I've been waiting for the bright red p*phone so I can get a matching base and go all Batphone!
The bletooth one might just get me hooked before that happens...
Cheers;

Wow I wish I could get one of these (I made a wired one in light of Pokia, but this is even more goofy!) but the price is quite steep, and then add postage to Australia on that. The Pip was inevitable, people like myself were having problems putting our retro-handsets in our pockets!
Wow, recursive technology!
I would love a computer screen that translated everything in realtime to a Bluetooth enabled dot-matrix printer... or teletypewriter printing ASCII art...
They should offer a bluetooth version with the cord still attached and dangling. Maybe with a few exposed copper strands sticking out of the end, for that real "insane" look.
If I ever write a movie script, it'll feature someone being handset-whipped by a Penelope, all Guy Ritchie style.
Similarly zany nonsense has been available from those lovely monkeys at www.mockia.com for years now....including pokias with the phone base section attached... pokias made from vintage brick phones....'banokia' banana pokias...you name it.....
