I ordered one of these suckers on 12/4... today is 12/11 and it still hasn't shipped. Email support is slow and not particularly helpful. I don't even really need this thing but if I can support non-drm media, I'm in. That being said -- Caveat Emptor.
On the other hand, my v3c didn't show up on time, I can't get my new microdrive to show up in my laptop, and apparently Gamefly takes about a week and a half to roundtrip a disc, so maybe it's just me.
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
