Samsung A900 (Blade) dribbles out across the US
The
Samsung A900 (aka Blade) has dropped in what appears to
be limited release at select Sprint stores 'cross the US. The rest of the country and
Radio Shack will probably have it sometime next week.
You'll find lots-o-pr0n and giddy initial user reports over at the SprintUsers forum. So go to bed early tonight and
prepare to pay a pre-tax $349 in that post-Thanksgiving morn' tryptophan-detox blackness to come.
[Thanks FloorMatt]

I know it has the dimensions/capabilities of the Motorola Razr, but unfortunately, would never know this from looking at it (and the look of the Razr is a major part of it's appeal). It looks like a completely ordinary phone, so it doesn't have that "must have" appeal the Razr does.
BTW, why is Sprint the only major wireless phone company that DOESN'T offer the Razr? they used to carry Motorola phones, what happened?
Anyway, since I don't have a service contract with Sprint anymore, will look into switching to Verizon and getting the Razr, scoring a better network and phone at the same time.

I recently bought this phone. It looks cool, but I can't say that I like it much. It has only 47.3M internal memory for media player. Looks like my battery does not last long enough, but possible that it needs some training time. I am not sure yet how good or bad is this phone receiver sensitivity. And on top of all I can't find any MP3 managing software possible to use to upload my music to this phone. Possibly it happens just because it's too new, but looks for me that Samsung does not carry much about it.
