The Zamboni Hot Tub
The problem with being a do-it-yourselfer is that you're constantly under pressure to outdo your latest project. So
if you're a hot tub rental company who's already installed a jacuzzi in an old VW Beetle and another in a speedboat
(complete with beverage cooler), finding that next project to mod can be quite a daunting task. Fortunately for Brent
Noels, co-owner of Ontario-based London Hot Tub Rentals, he happened upon a 1971 Zamboni for sale and immediately
pictured 8 to 10 people relaxing in the engine compartment. After a year of retrofitting the icemobile, Noels began
renting out the Hot Tub Zamboni along with the rest of his collection, and apparently it has proven to be quite popular
in hockey-mad Canada. Noels tried renting his creation out across the border, but found little to no interest from
Americans, most of whom had no idea that hockey was still a professional sport.

what's a zamboni?
is that some type of sandwhich?
OH COME ON! Hockey is a great sport, you just need to be from somewhere that gets snow more months than sun to get the game.
i disagree pacey. i live in sunny so cal (its almost december and about 70 degrees here!) and i love hockey
If that came here to Atlanta, I would be all about renting it. now if they could just find a way to have it still function as a Zamboni... Intermission party on the ice!
The hot tub is clearly in the Snow Bucket. The engine could well be in the engine compartment. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it could still possibly partially function as an ice resurfacer - but the snow'd have no place to go.
If London Hot Tub puts the 'making of' up on their site, we would know for sure.
I'd like to rent it and shave some ice with people in the tub.
OK...a RENTED Hot tub....
I really, really, REALLY hope they give that thing a good cleaning between rentals.
And I don't want the job of cleaning it out each time....
There's video of a japanese swimming pool/van out there on the web. Very nice, but if they ever slammed on the brakes it'd pop the windshield right out...

The snow could possibly go into the hottub, where it would melt and then evaporate?
I also disagree with you Pacey.
I'm from Dallas Texas, home of the Stars, and am a HUGE hockey fan!
Now you're thinking #6!
No need to find a hose to fill er up!
Might not be the cleanest water though...
#6: who doesn't want to bathe in the sweat, blood, and dropped teeth of the NHL's finest?
Nitpick knows his stuff. I would love to resurface the rink I work at with people lounging in the jacuzzi/dumptank. Would make a cool music video or something.
Maybe this is how Snoop Dogg could break into the Canadian market...
I went to a fight once and a hockey match broke out...
Why do they call it hockey when they 're talking about ice hockey?
Din, hockey and ice hockey are one and the same in America. The specifier “field” is needed when referring to “field hockey” due to its lesser prominence being played mostly be high school girls and being abysmally dull.
I’d love to ride in the Jaboni in a 4th of July parade!
That is so cool. I know plenty of people that are fans of hockey teams in the central hockey league that think that is cool! What do I have to do to get one in Tennessee?
