In its latest port to, um, RC, real PacMan does lack a certain immediacy of its console predecessors. But damned if
the Man doesn't actually eat those power pellets, and damned if our wish list this year doesn't just keep getting
longer and longer.
[Thanks, Mr. BENDER]

That's not the real Pacman. There should be floating orbs for Pacman to chomp on. Pacman does not eat off the floor.

I so want a real world Tetris, complete with a way for the machine to "slide" off a completed row.

this is the greatest invention in the history of the world.
todd @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
Do the ghosts move or kill pac-man?
SeeSpan @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
Now that would make an awesome conversation piece at this year's christmas party.
Any word on if it support multiplayer? :P

Pac Man always brings back fond memories of me blowing my allowance as a kid,
but where are all the K.C. Munchkin tributes? lol
khurrum @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
how does Pacman get from one end of board to the other end when he goes through the portal/tunnel on the left and right edges of the screen?
miscblogger @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
hey this is awesome! they should make a life size pacman. now THAT would be REALLY cool!
Galley @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
Do I score some bonus points for the fact the "Pac Man Fever" was the #2 choice for my Junior Prom theme song back in 1982? ;-)
John Doe @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
Meh....seems like a halfassed attempt.
1. No power pellets.
2. The ghosts can't go anywhere.
3. no fruit.
4. The ghosts don't change color.
It seems like they went though a lot of work for only a halfway done project.
alan @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
I actually made a life sized Pac-Man and ran around my school for senior dress-up day. We had the floating ball hanging in front of me and the theme music and sadly only once ghost..but it was the greatest thing ever!

The hiilarious movie Club Dread also has a live-action version of Pac-Man depicted, but on a much smaller "labyrinth" scale--none of this running through the streets. An added comedy moment was the live insertion of the "eating a Power Pellet" sound effect. Makes me want to start-up a live-action game of Galaga.

GamerGirl @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM

Ryan @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
real life pac man is more active. eat those pellets and decide whether you want to be a ghost or part of the pac man family. Changes each round.
Starwind1985 @ Dec 19th 2005 12:56AM
I wonder if something happens when you make pac man go under the ghosts...wish the video showed
