I just want to check--there's no cover for this, right?
Grrr. If I didn't already have tickets to deck the hall ball I would TOTALLY be there. Maybe I'll stop by after. Are you guys going to be strict about time or more "I've already had five drinks what's five more" lax?
Boo - I work that night, starting at 6:00.
Would you guys be wiling to stop by my house though and to drop off some of the cool gifts, and so that I can complain about the fact that there is two few caption contests, too many amazingly cool Korean products that I'll never see, and too little a talk about Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot.
I'm about six blocks from the meeting place - corner of Spring/Madison and 9th ave. Just come before 6:00 to the 9th and Spring entrance and talk to the manager - she'll know who Wonderflex is. I'll make sure to have some red flavored KoolAid ready. No bagels though, sorry.
Wow, Deck tickets went fast, you're lucky you got em'
I'll totally be there.
#1 I don't think there is a cover, since it says open to public.
I might show up if I remember, what's the expected turnout?
Ah come on... a thursday?! I live four hours away in the Tri-Cities. Could have done it on a Fri or Sat night.
Agreed . . . Thursday is weak!
That is finals week for me and I'm 5 hours away in Spokanistan!
Wish I could make it :-/
A lot of people don't like to do weekend nights because they head out of town (or live in the suburbs and can only do stuff after work), and besides, it wouldn't have worked in our travel schedule.
Also, the event is free. I'd feel pretty bad asking anyone to pay money to hang out with us.
Woohoo, I'll be there! Thanks for thinking of us seattlites, we promise, no WTO shennanigans ;)
What? Nothing 4 philly?
time to be geek. i'll probably be there.
I've been reading this Blog for the longest time, and have been waiting to just chill with fellow bloggers. What could we expect that night?
Neumo's is pretty cool and chill. Can't wait.
Detroit please maybe sometime during Superbowl week. i dunno
Mix a little nerdery, a dash of Rock n' Roll and maybe a splash of booze and you've got a recipe for a kickin good time (corny... yeah, I know). I'm taking that Friday off so somebody better be up for a little after party that night. To the guy with the Deck tickets, good work. That'll be a great show.
I work just a couple doors down from Neumo's so I'll probably stop on by.
Hey Aaron, you live in the Tri Cities?
Your probably the first person ive met online who lives here. I live out in north richland, right on the edge of gway next to the highschool and wsu.
Well, assuming I can get out of jury duty in Olympia next week I'll be there. I work down in Puyallup - not too far. Sounds fun!
Yeah, will Detroit ever be an option or are you too... scared? :)
Dude, I was born in Detroit and go there at least once a year. We'll have a meetup there next time I go back to visit relatives!
Sweet, lez do it.
I would like to add... that there is this really REALLY good mexican food joint just near there... right next to the garage enterance for the QFC on Broadway. The (carnitas) Tacos IMHO are to die for. Can someone... can SOMEONE please go there for me... cause I am really dying to have one... and living in the ever so Isolated country of Russia.. well... we just don't have such food. :-(
Come to Rochester, NY. Soon it will be so cold that your snot freezes...that totally rocks!!
One of your German readers is currently in town and won't miss that opportunity. I look forward to it. :o)
Sweet I'll be there because everybody knows that Thursday night is the party night.
#22, it's Tacos Guaymos(sp?), but Bimbo's Bitchin' Burrito Kitchen down the street is even better :)
It's awesome that this meetup is like two blocks from work, first in line!
First person to tell Rojas to get a haircut gets $5.
I kid, I kid...
w00t! The 8th is my birthday, I'll be there.
Mat (#25): I don't remember Bimbo's (or do I), but either way... just don't have food like that here.
Everyone from out-of-town going to the event, ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY. Seattle is a great city.
We got snow yesterday. Closed down the office after 3pm!
