Shake it like a Polaroid cameraphone picture
Images of a "Polaroid Camera Phone" have surfaced on Mobile Korea, and the device looks more like a "hey, wouldn't
this be cool?" type concept than anything, so we're not expecting to be popping a SIM card into one anytime soon. The
phone is labeled HS-RSS, and seems quite small for being a
mini photo printer, much less the added camera phoning
and media playing the device is supposedly capable of. Yeah, really not holding our breath on this one, but we can't be
denying the idea they're playing around with here.

How much would you like to bet that polariod will still be finding things to put their "instant photo" technology into new gizmos 50 years from now?

I don't like to think about the Polaroid, as it takes me back to when I was younger, you all know how as kids we like to search all around the house, well I was searching around one day and I came across some Polaroids I decided to look at to my horror they were pictures of my parents Ahhhhhhhhh, need i say more.

I suppose this is just as real a device as the Poleroid x530. I waited a year and a half for that to ship, it finally "shipped" in the UK and was recalled because of terrible picture quality. I should see my Powershot S70 tomorrow afternoon.

I can see this happening. Anyone ever see the small kiddie-ish polaroid camera that printer less than 1-inch photos on sticker paper?
It is not likely a printer, if it's a polaroid, the film would be exposed to light and it self-develops.
Very interesting, people could get into that to immediately share simple pics. I can see the market. Not large maybe, but people would buy it.

nobody thought it was interesting,WHO the polaroid was of?
ax7 @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
Who is the picture of? I dont know... I dont watch tv or anything, if its one of those. Who the heck would want a 1x2 inch picture? Only kids... maybe the phone is made for kids.

#8 - Obviously not... We're geeks, remember? ;-)

Remember, you wouldn't be popping any SIM cards (which are GSM or UMTS only) into any Korean devices (which are CDMA only) anyway.
