GOLD V3i coming to Dolce & Gabbana
Now that the RAZR has become the new StarTAC,
fashionistas need a new way to make their uber-slim cellphone draw wows, so Dolce has teamed up with Moto to offer just
the product. A few lucky people (1000, to be exact) will soon be able to pick up a special edition gold V3i from
D&G boutiques worldwide, which is now a necessary component in completing the full
magenta-silver-
black-blue-gold RAZR rainbow. No word yet on the cost, but if you're even considering buying such an unnecessary
piece of showiness, it's doubtful that price is of much concern.
[Thanks, Benoit]

Is holding the phone in your left hand (upside down no less) and talking on the right side of your head the cool thing to do amongst the social l33t?
Is it just me or is that girl way too ugly for the phone as well
How about they provide a dependable release date and price instead of teasing consumers with the skittles color combinations. The V3c can already be purchased for 99 dollars via rebate, so the V3i better hurry up a release before the must have appeal takes a nose dive.
Grrreat! This willl match my gold tooth. Bye bye bluetooth.
i'm no fan of razrs, but i gotta admit that thing is sharp. i'd just be afraid to use it if i owned it, knowing the durability of RAZrs
I think your phone is blinging.
Knowing the durability of razrs? Ive owned one since launch, and treat it with wreckless abandon- sure its got a couple small scuffs, but none on the screens- its MUCH more durable than plastic cased phones, especially compared to the Nokia 3650 i replaced with it.
That said, Ill pass on this one.
#4 LOL @ Geneo :-D
If you don't own a Razr because you're worried about durability, stop hurling your phone against concrete walls. I kicked the habit and my Razr thanks me for it.

gold razr v3i, too much, you know that someone will want to try to steal that from you (refering you as if you were the owner of one).
If i had the cash i would maybe buy it.
yeahh...another cool RAZR
ummmm.... would this be the pimp version?
I have the silver (love it) but I am completely coveting the ultracool black 007 version. Pppppppllllllleeeeeeeeeezzzzzzz, Santa?
wow. the retarded comments i have read in this tread matches so perfectly with the retardedness of the couture industry...i.e. the phone.
as for people wondering about the durablity of the razr, i have the black one and it will get scuffed overtime...but shouldn't break unless you you feel the need to use you cellphone as a weapon.
would look better in black with gold accents (keypad, trim line, m logo)
Wow very luxury... You can find the price here http://ita.dolcegabbana.it/motorola2005/
The D&B version of the razr V3i is cool in terms of uniqueness. Since there are only going to be 1000 of them, you can pretty much gaurnuntee that you won't see your co-worker, your next door neighbor and that teenage kid riding the bus to school carrying one. It will pretty much be restricted to those pseudo-celebutantes like Paris Hilton that is if she can put dowm that crystal-studded Sidekick monstrosity. If I had that kind of money I'd throw it down just for the bragging rights. Too bad I don't. =p
I've only seen the Gold V3i a few places online that sell unlocked GSM world phones and they are going for at least $2,000 US. There was supposedly an eBay auction that sold one for the final price of about $2,500 US. I checked the D&B site to see if you could purchase it online from there, but it says you can only buy it in a D&B boutique in one of thier varuous Europe an locations no less. Lovely...
When I first got my original unlocked silver V3 RAZR for my t-mobile carrier I got lots of oooh and ahhs from it because it was a cingular exclusive at the time and no matter where you bought it, it was at least $300 U.S.
Since then, T-Mobile has picked up both the Silver and the Magenta versions, Cingular has added the once limited Black version and the CDMA carriers Verizon, Alltel, US Cellular has picked up the Gray V3c version and the original silver and black versions are now going for $99 or even being sold for free through various distributors and because of it, everyone, thier mother and thier grandmothers are now sporting some variation of the razr.
The only one I haven't seen in en-masse is that ice blue version of the Razr that T-Mobile considered, but later rejected to carry, but is still available through online distributors. I may have gotten that if I didn't already have the original silver RAZR. Oh well.
What I am looking forward to is the regular V3i and since my contract is up with T-Mo I may actually jump ship to Cingular if they wind up being the exclusive carrier to the V3i. I'm looking forward to the expandable TransFlash/MiniSD memory, the 1.23 MP camera and video capabilities and the MP3 player with possible iTunes, which would bring the razr on par with nokia phones that came out in 2004-2005. Yeah I know, it's going to be 2006 soon, but that's the price you have to pay (aside from the retail price tag of course) for a phone with such a cool form factor as thr RAZR.
i want to buy this phone
