A color display defeats the purpose of this breed of e-book. The point is to replicate the look of paper, not to diaplay colors and aliased text. That kind iof thing is what prevents people from reading e-book readers for long periods of time. If they can replicate the look of ink on paper, with it;s higher contrast and sharp edges, then eye strain and fatigue are significantly lessened.
Color will NOT make this useful. 4 colors in grayscale will.
