Tmsuk's Kiyomori samuraibot
Tmsuk, makers of robots that range from the useful (the Roborior sercurity bot, the prime minister-gassing Artemis) to the goofy (the Banrya chatting guard dragon, the servicebot shopping companion, the RIDC-01 projectorbot), are back on the scene with a bot that definitely fits into the latter category, the Kiyomori samuraibot. No plans on mass production of this strange humanoid, which is just as well, as we really prefer not having autonomous sword-wielding robots roam around our pad. Extra consideration in today's holiday giveaway for those readers who can pick out the fake samurai in the pic.

The fake one has gotta be the middle one....
the one on the right and in the middle are both humans, the one on the left is the robot
the one on the right and in the middle are both humans
the one on the far left is fake
I'd love to see a match between that Honda Robot (the one running) and that fake samurai. That would be some sight seeing that little robot kick the livi..(wait a minute)...electronic dailights out of that fake samurai. All that thing does is bow. Oh Wow! What a fearsome samurai. Speedy Gonzales can get at least a couple of fast kicks while slow-mo Bowing Tiger goes through it's motions...
Just in case this really will help, the left samurai is the fake one. Although personally I think one of these guys could be handy around the house. There is always something that needs opening.
Trick question! All three are fake samurai, as clearly there are no *real* samurai in the picture. Also, the one on the right and the one in the middle appear to be corporate wage-slaves, so all three are robots as well!
To cut to the chase for the not-so-obvious: the one on the left is the samuraibot. But that's not what you asked. And I haven't looked at the giveaway for today. Should I? :p
no no no... I want to see a three way battle between The running bot, the Samurai bot, and the soccer bot http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000340048506/
Money is definately on the soccer bot. I mean come on! it's eyes turn red!
None of them are real samurai, but the left one looks to be the bot.
the one on the left is probably the robot.
"the one on the left is probaly the robot."
Wow, I didn't realize so many NASA employees read Engadget. What gave it away?
If you can track down the entire video, later on they do the robot. Err, that sounds wrong.
Robo-samurai at 0900, no real samurai in photo.
(One ninja hidden in background!)
Duh you guys, there is a real samurai. He's the one holding the camera.
i'll go with robot on the left.
the one on the left
i'm really REALLY hoping it's that one on the left, cause if it isn't some dude's head in japan is grossly misshapen.
All three are fake samurai! Hello!? We all know that Tom Cruise was the last samurai.
