Imation's plush "Furry Flash" USB drives
It's been awhile (too long, we know) since we brought you a totally goofy USB peripheral/thumbdrive ala the
sushi drives or the
spaghetti drive, so here for your mocking pleasure are
the three plush Furry Flash drives from Imation. Not only do the dog, croc, and hippo-shaped drives defeat the whole
purpose of pocketable data, but at a scant 128MB, these items hold very little of the stuff in the first place. Still,
for only $30, this might not be a bad gift for the budding secret agent; in fact, we bet these will start showing up on
the CIA for Kids website in no time. Assuming they live in Japan, anyway, since that's the only place you're gonna find
these limited edition devices.
[Thanks, Michael]

Thats an odd place to hide porn..
At least it won't scratch like an iPod.
LOL, cute for a kid who's got a lotta gadgets.
#2, #3 - both very valid points
You can take any USB drive and shove it up the ass of any toy. So do it yourself if this seems good to you.

Just what you want, to teach little kids to shove their toys in your computer. Just wait until you find a barbie head in your CD drive...
#2 and #3 absolutely. #5 the ultimate truth. #6 makes no sense. and ultimately, $30 toy for your 14 yro packet monkey kid for xmas? perfect.
How about a Tickle Me Elmo usb storage device? :)

How about you tear Elmo a new one and tell us how it turns out? (see #5/Stulong)
Anyone else still see "Imitation" when you you see this manufacturer's name? If it weren't 3M I might think it the brainchild of an Engrish major.
Can't get much more hip than a hippo...
I think I saw a couple furry flashes at Anthrocon last year.
