Ask Engadget: What gadget do you really want for the holidays?
'Twas the Thursday before Xmasand Engadget wants to ask
what gadget you lust for
to accomplish that task... we'd try and go on, but besides being absurdly weak at seasonal rhyming knockoffs (ok, well some of us at Engadget have a knack for it), we think we pretty much just asked what really needs to be answered this week: what gadget(s) do you really want this holiday season? Wait, wait, don't tell us, you want an Xbox 360, right? Ok, so for all those who don't (only) want a 360, be specific -- we want model numbers! And for those who do want a 360, well, shout it out anyway.

Reality:
60GB iPod
Motorola RAZR V3c
Dream world:
Quad G5
30" Cinema Display
networked RAID (at least a TB)
HD capible projector
Well since you guys are asking:
I-Mate Sp5M
Peace on Earth, and then a mythical device that is a highly portable PDA/Phone/Mulit-Media Expandable Entertainment Center/Full Web Browswer/SMS, MMS, all other XXS's/Voice Command/MoFoVGA 16MM 24 Bit Screen/Stereo Speakers/Unlimited Voice, Data, and DUN Broadband Plan/Choice of any 100 App Downloads/and a partridge in a pear tree.

I just want an apple ipod video nothing more nothing less.
I'd love a Sony Ericsson k750i, an o2 exec, or a sony w900.
Now, I'm actually getting the k750i. :D
xbox 360 and ipod (nano or video)
I got myself an iPod last Christmas, a Treo 650 in September, and a ThinkPad T43p in November. Now the only thing I really want is a Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D digital SLR:

I want a sprint phone that doesn't suck! With PDA function, touch screen, maybe a hidden keyboard (like a sidekick), wireless, bluetooth, windows software, a camera with >3 megapixels, and a gig of memory + expandable memory slots. Oh yeah, it needs to be light weight and thin (about the dimensions of the new ipods).
However, I haven't seen anything suitable close to this yet.... christmas miracle needed :)
I would definitley want an xbox 360. I actually won 4 times on ebay and they ended up being a scam or virtually nothing. Many times I've been excited over winning an xbox 360 but this never came true. I also lost 500 dollars on ebay because of such thing. Yea thats definitley what I want.
I brought home the money this year, A White 60 GB video iPod, a PSP Giga Pack, Wipeout Pure, Battlefront II (PSP), SSX On tour (Gamecube), and FIFA 06 (PSP)
I wish i had a Dell XPS laptop, HTC Apache, and a XBOX 360.
SK65 (but, I had to buy it for myself) -- btw, I wanted the burlwood version, but since seeing it on Engadget (remember, the "bite marks are a feature") I have never been able to find where to buy it. (please help Peter and Ryan) Happy Holidays!
I would like a cell phone that works, you know, talk on...get phone calls. But it has to be clear and legible at both ends of a conversation. Send photos?
Nope. Get on the internet? Nope. Play music? Nope.
Text message or instant message? I thought conversation
was the idea, ain't it?
Or, a digital camera as good as a film camera. Novel idea if it didn't cost 5 grand.
An economical car to run and purchase,20K, no way!
World peace...
I want a Palm TX with a kitchen sink...
Throw Santa in as well
My wife gave me an Acer Ferrari 4005. The kids chipped in for an 2 PSP games (Ultimate Block Party and King Kong).
Cool!
It's not really a gadget, but most ppl here (me included) could use a GIRLFRIEND and a life
