Cowon's new iAudio 6 goes 0.85-inch
Cowon is busting out their rumored iAudio player at CES, the iAudio 6. It's got a 0.85-inch hard
drive, which they claim is the world's first in an audio player, but we know
better. They're targeting this 4GB player at the iPod nano (what else?) and have packed in a 1.3-inch OLED screen for viewing the vids, and a touch sensitive
"%" control scheme they title "Swing Touch". Not a bad looking player, it seems a bit on the thick
side, but the included video playback is a nice touch for those with the patience for 1.3-inch flicks.

hmmm... it looks like a SE750 without keyboard
^^ you must be drunk, it doesn't look anything like a k750. It looks like garbage, in fact worse than garbage; it reminds me of a dell DJ.
Don't know about you guys, but my "%" goes from down left the upper right ;)
I would rather have a VZ90... I am glad I am getting one...
I think it looks pretty slick. A bit on the fresh side of things, actually. I like my players to have FM though, at least. I hope this does - havent read the specs myself yet, though.
Its a decent effort by Cowan.
That's an interesting comparison, #6, as the Razr V3 has enough built in memory to MAYBE fit one song on it. But other than that, fantastic comparison. Nice scamjob as well. As far as the dap, I think it looks pretty sweet. The touch pad looks to be rather efficient if you really think about it. Too bad theres no 6 or 8 gig version....
the % seems like it would be awkward to use. that would take some time getting used to and it seems like it would favor a left handed person over a right handed person.
Notice the play button's orientation. That's why it's a % sign. Rotate the player 90 degrees counter clock wise for correct orientation.
Check http://www.iAudiophile.net for more news and pictures. The diagnol strip is disigned to follow the natural arc of your thumb, much better than the up & down strip but provides enough control with its straightness. Overall I think it is a worthy successor to the i6.
