Nikon prepping wireless D3H DSLR?
We're hearing rumblings
from France of a new DSLR from Nikon, the D3H, that packs in WiFi
and a 3-inch LCD. The supposed camera should take 10 megapixel pics and drop in the second half of the year for $3800.
We sure wouldn't mind peeping that 320,000 pixel 3-inch LCD, or offloading pics with the 802.11b/g WT-3 wireless
transmitter, but we'll have to wait for Nikon to announce this for reals before we get too excited here.

That looks like a photoshop special, sorry. Also the web site you pointed to is known for posting BS.
To Dirk, the D_H is their high speed model, the D_X is their high res model. Canon's 1DmkII is at 8mp, 8fps, so a "D3H" at 10mp, 8fps would trump Canon. But it's just extrapolated BS, IMHO.

Why are these rumblings coming from France and not Japan?
They already have a 10mp dslr, do they need to make another just so people can download without a wire?
Have fun keeping your batteries charged with a 3-inch lcd. Don't do many previews.

Total and absolute forgery. Guaranteed. Total BS.

3" LCD??? why? SLR camera's block the sensor with a mirror, making the LCD monitor useless as a veiwfinder. a 2" LCD is better, as it is cheaper, and easier on the batteries.
Also, transferring 1GB over a 802.11g connection isn't that bad. I -might- pick one of these up, if the price goes down a bit.

10mp is basically the same as the 12 mp sensor on the D2X, and they will most likely come out with a D3X or D3H like with their previous pro dSLRs...and anyways the 3" lcd would be great for checking the yrgb graphs and still see a decent sized picture.
