NICE! :D
Any word on the sensor inside this badboy?
What I really want to see is what the output looks like.
That looks pretty damn good actually. It would've been even better if they had removable microdrives though.
The post is misleading. I thought we were going to see the output of the camcorder...
Peter sounded REALLY stressed. Hope the engadget guys are enjoying themselves at this holiest of holidays (aka CES).
I am looking forward to seeing how the overall quality, indoor and outdoor, compares to some of the high end miniDV cameras out there.
...but is it HD as in High Definition or HD as in Hard Drive?
Inquiring minds want to know (the specs) ;)
Kitka
This looks like hte previous Sanyo Xacti, but in much bigger. I am not quite sure about the color, I still like the silver version ;)
MaxSMoke... Dad, is that you?? Who the hell taught you to use the internet and how did you type such a long post using only two fingers?
DUMB QUESTION TO FOLLOW:
What video editting software could I use on my Mac with this camera?
I may have just met my next video camera!!! Great for capturing video of the family around the house. You know, For Kids!
You're crazy #9. Peter & Ryan dress like the hipsters they are. The whole messy hair/tight clothes look is where it's at, yo.
IT'S PETER!!!!
Can you mount it on a tripod?

Yes you can mount it on a tripod. HD as in 720p High Def, not as in SD it takes a hard drive. iMovie HD part of iLife '06 and yes that was a dumb question. And no you are not going to get a clip of HD video in less than 6MB unless it was 2/3rds of a second long.
