Pantech's US-bound PN-8300

Among their excellent coverage of the swarm of cellphones Pantech is planning to unleash on the US this year is PhoneScoop's write-up of the PN-8300 slider. Though a little chunky for our tastes (you gotta rock WM5 to make a bulge in our pocket), the 8300 rocks some impressive specs including EV-DO, a two megapixel cam, music playback (from the microSD slot), and a speakerphone. The guys at PS speculate that since this model is made by Pantech's SK Teletech division, the 8300 will drop onto the upcoming Helio MVNO, due to SK Teletech's relationship to Helio part-owner SK Telecom.
