Tekkeon's myTalker pumps the tunes and takes your calls
If you're tired of getting your
groove thrown off by a headphones to headset swap when you get
a call in the middle of jammin' to some crazy beats, Tekkeon might be able to solve your problem. They unveiled the
myTalker at Macworld that does the MP3 player headhones thing, but when you get a call they pick it up over Bluetooth,
and let you speak into the myTalker control device which you can clip to your shirt. The myTalker lets you control the
volume, redial, voice dial, and lets you know how its rechargeable battery is doing, before switching you back to those
beats we were discussing. It goes for $75 and should be out in February.

So I can use my own headphones with this right?
If so, this thing looks really cool...
Now this device is pretty wierd! Wonder how much battery the bluetooth support costs.
I prefer my glowing ipod headphones :)

What a shame they didn't combine it with an iPod remote control - taking power from the iPod and pausing it during calls…
So what they already sell something like this at computer geeks

the manufactures website

I really like this!
This could end the use of my P910 as a music player.
Too bad, though, that it doesn't have a 3.5mm plug for my headphones.
Now, if only Creative will add Ogg support in their next upgrade I'll be onto the digital music bandwagon big-time.
woh i just got a great idea from this...
why can't some company created something about this size that you can pop ur sim card into
it could read phone numbers from ur contacts on ur ipod as a phonebook!
i mean i've seen some really tiny phones, but this one wouldn't even need a screen and could b possible powered by the ipods battery :-D
They should really have it in the form of 3.5 mm in/ 3.5 mm out passthrough so people can use their own headphones. In the music mode, the device shoud ideally let the signal from the player just go through, so no power would be drained from the device itself.
Another company has been making something similar to this for a long time but uses the headset and headphone jacks instead. Since my phone doesn't have bluetooth, I am going to go with one of these. And they are cheap, too! http://www.skullcandy.com
If only they would make something where you could combine the audio from two devices and put the sound out of one set of headphones. That way i could hear the sound effects from my psp or ds while also listening to my ipods music.
