Sony Ericsson k800i is the Wilma?

im getting one whenever it comes out to australia. i am very excited about the 3.2 megapixel camera on the phone and im a Sony Ericsson fanatic!
I suppose that given that Sony Ericsson Japan iss releasing a phone with qvga resolution and 3 MP camera (back and 1.3 MP front camera), Wilma's reputed specifications can't be too far from the truth...

Shows the Japanese phone, the SO902i or something like that, which is an upcoming model. (thankfully Wilma does not, seem to actually LOOK like this phone exactly)
this k800i really looks nice, it would be a best choice for a phone upgrade. currently i have the k600 and is thinking to change it to k610 but now that i see this hansome phone, hmmmm...well this is it, my dream phone come true...i just hope that it will soon be available here in the philippines...i'm an mobile addict and i just find sony ericsson phones as the best phone manufacturer...kudos to you guys!
this is a dead gorgeous phone! i would sure want to have this as my upgrade for my k600...hope this one has fm radio..
K800!!! 1 of the Best phone SE has made till now...i've used almost all SE mobile phones and i can tell u that this 3.2 megapixel mobile is the best Mobile Camera.
Right now am using a K700i and this is my next target, i dont care about the disadvantages of SE K800i (if there is any) coz i know it will b better than my actual one.
3.2 Megapixels, UMTS support, 2 screen of 262K colors QVGA display, 64 MB internal memory, Memory Stick Micro slot, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB and K800 is 106 x 47 x 18 mm big and weighs 115 grams.
Am already in love with that mobile. (K800)
And also watch out for the upcoming SE K310 (Cleo) , SE K510 (named after the K500) and a clamshell phone looking like the W530, the Z530.

I will never buy another SE after the messup on the w800i. They repeatedly denied there was a firmware fault while my and many many others phones continually would corrupt their memorysticks, deleting all their photos, data and mp3's.
Eventually a month later they admited it was a fault and released new firmware. Should have been a re-call and in my opinion = terrible customer service and they have lost a customer for life.

Ehh, Where is the P990 for North America? Kinda disappointed with Sony Ericsson right now. No quad band and no NA UMTS support.
if it had a QWERTY keyboard it would be perfect.
If those pictures of a whole new interface are correct, I wonder if the interface will include a full featured music player like the Walkman phones.

Does it sync with your PSP or play the games?
I wonder if it's because the k series of phones diddn't use the walkman icons. Maybe they picked that instead.
PSP icon is just the symbol they use for the games menu... just some free advertising for another of their products.

In K750i SE used PS2 controller image for "games" icon in the phone.
Since this phone is a newer version, they're simply using PSP image for the "games" icon.
I guess, when SONY releases PS3, Sony Ericsson will use PS3 controller image, etc...
Looks pretty nice and it has a great screen.
And, by the way, this picture is pure CGI. Combination of previous spy pix of K800i (which may be real), D750i and K750i.
I really like Sony Ericsson phones. They make good quality products that work well. I believe that they set the bar for other phone manufacturers.

Have been waiting for a UTMS version of the k750i. Don't make me defect to Nokia for their 6233.. please? :-)

The structure is very much similar to the SE K700 but the colour and look are really great.
But it will be really nice if they could include a real player like Nokia 6600 and also increase the in-build storage space.

Yeah, some of the carriers fiddle around with the menus etc... or you have the K700 and are getting confused.

Uhm... that looks very much like a UMTS version, check the top left corner, that looks like a camera to me indicating that this is a 3G phone indeed.
Is it 3G?
That phone looks well nice definatly my next upgrade and hopefully 3G if that is a camara on the top left!
Hey guys I bought this phone recently from a vodafone shop.I have this problem.The LCD screen doesnt turn off.It was on even when the screen saver is turned on.Please someone tell me how to resolve this problem please.If possible give me instructions to do the settings please

I think SE make great phones but considering their expertise I think they've been completely slow. I love the look of their phones but wont buy any of their candybars yet because they dont have qvga. If the w810 had qvga and a decent web browser (otherwise install opera) it would my perfect phone... but as yet Im still sticking with my dopod smartphones...
