This device isn't totally useless. Yes it is outdated with regards to the KVM functionality, but who needs to extend the keyboard and mouse anyways? The resolution is fine for many applications. For custom installation applications, this would make hanging a plasma on a wall for board room applications a breeze when there is no way to pull a wire of any sort from a conference table to a nearby wall. It may not be useful for some of these home theater people, but the real enthusiast is not looking at doing anything wireless!!
