Didigo's LCD sporting USB flash drives
It's not quite as exciting
now that those e-ink equipped USB flash drives are starting to surface, but Didigo is busting out their
own LCD equipped DD01 drives that range from 128MB to 4GB and display their remaining capacity for all the world to see.
They look just like Buffalo's RUF-LD drives, but since
those units max out at 512MB, we'll forgive this little bit of OEM action.

They were in the booth next to mine at CES; looks nice enough though personally the only thing I can see using it for is for putting backups on them and putting the backup date on the screen; then I can just look at the devices and find either the most recent backup, or the one I can overwrite...

I wonder when those 0.85 USB Drives will start having screens on them :) They could display much more data, I would imagine. Its a neat idea, but I think being able to read what files are in there, would be cool too. Maybe even display TXT files. Interesting.

These are great for keeping track of data from work and home. I have several of the 1Gb version. I found it at Compusa.

Got excited then thinking it was pac-man on the screen and not a pie chart showing free space

#4 Yes - if that LCD could be used for games it sure would add some value to this USB key. Hangman or some simple game like that.
