Japan's Greenhouse, makers of such useful (or at least unusual) gear as the tower speaker system
for the Mac mini, must be running out of ideas. How else to explain the company's latest product, the GH-SPA-430, a docking system for the iPod that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Bose SoundDock
? Well, there is one stab at originality: there's a black version, to match current-model black iPods. Still, we suspect Amar Bose isn't losing a whole lot of sleep over this; Bose fans are as devout as their Apple counterparts, and aren't likely to stray just to get a little color coordination.
