Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
I do think a 700p is coming to Sprint soon. In fact, I'd be willing to put money on the fact that it's near final. Palm got a lot of hype around CES with the 700w. As much as I'd have liked to see a 700p at CES, it wouldn't have been in their best interests to do so. Most reviews and CES impressions said the 650 is better than the 700w. With reviews like that, having a 700p at CES would have destroyed both their and microsoft's hype on the 700w.
Personally, after seeing the Motorola Q at CES (think I played with it every day), there's no phone I'd more like to have. I think the form factor and the Blackberry like scroll wheel will work very well with the WM5 software. The UI looks like it still needed some fine-tuning, but hopefully it'll be solid by the time it comes out.
