A couple more shots of Sony Ericsson's Wilma / k800i
We're not going to deny the utter
gratuity here, but cut us some slack, we'll admit we've been rather lustful for more shots of Sony Ericsson's Wilma / k800i, and now you can finally see, um,
the back of what's sure to be one of the sexiest phones of 2006. Just to refresh your memory, this thing's supposed to
pack a 3.2 megapixel camera, QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, stereo speakers, 466MB of internal flash, and
EDGE/UMTS. You know, brains and beauty.

I liked this supephone ))
and I wonder when will this phone be in Azerbaijen )))
No! No!!! You can't take away my joystick! Never, SE! Never!
There is alot of buzz about it now...SE has a site up on it. PICTURES! NOT FAKE! REAL PICTURES!!!

That isn't K800i u fools..
Really like this phone, it will be my first SE in my entire life.
N80 ain't a match for this because of the lack of autofocus on the Nokia :( BUT the N73 will also have 3.2 MP, autofocus AND Carl Zeiss lens with mechanical shutter...
So what's it gonna be? N73 or K800i? or maybe wait for the rmours of samsung (5mp and 7mp) to come true?
check for revieuws http://www.mobile-review.com
it's here.. 464 us dollars.. and it's better than any nokia to come out for a couple years atleast.. why?? the video resolution is twice as good as the up coming nokia n93. nokia's highest 352x288 @ 30fps or SE's 640x480 30fps video.. yeah.. so nokia has 3x optical zoom on the n93 but does't help the video.. the k800i has 16x digital zoom for pictures.. btu i think most of us are turning more and more to video.. wutchu think?? by the way.. any memory card above 512mb in any nokia will result in lagged video recording.. try it.. all the n series lag. i had the n70 and n90.. lagged.. tried the n72 yesterday.. cuts up. what gives.. i mean.. recording mp4 videos on any n series takes 4mb per minute.. then what after you fill a 512 card?? say your pieces people..
LG's chocolate phone has got a staunch rival.

That's a sexy phone. How cliche that I will be upgrading from the K700i to the K800i.
Is it just me or does it look a lot like the K700, other than that it should be the dogs!
It looks nearly like any other non-walkman phone sony has released since the T610. IT has the memory capacity, but it sure as hell isnt sexy. Give that up.
Put some style into your designs, Sony.
WooHoo. Looks like I too will be upgrading from a K700i to a K800i.
yeah, so when the hell is this thing going to be available. taunt us with the cool phones we never even see!
Once I see some shots of this that seem a little less render-y, I'll start lusting, too. Is there any reason to trust the specs more than the pics?
When will this thing be available in Europe?
If it ain't quad band it ain't shit.
Is it quad band?
This or the N80. Tough choice.
now just pray SE builds a GSM/UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 version for us.
Sorry to burst your bubble...
thats a fake...

It's a FAAAAKE!!!
These are not new photos!!!!!! these were rendered by someone on se-nse forums!!! check your sources people!
also, NO ONE in the general public knows a damn thing about this phone except for the fact that there are three spyshots of it.. THATS IT!!!! nothing more has been released about it.
shade
With as many people that dump on Sony these days, at least they are upping the ante when it comes to megapixels on some of their phones. Not only is America stuck with second hand phones from Asia, we seem to be caught in the VGA groundhog's day. Every trend following sucker that's now toting around a Razor is just making it more apparent to Moto and the others that we will keep settling for that crap.
Can anyone reccommend a decent, cheap but functional SE phone? I'm looking for mp3 player, bluetooth and video. K300i looks good, but besides the video functionality, it's pretty much the same size look and features as my T610...
As said before, this is a Fake, however some more information, Is that it is infact an edit of the upcomming SO902i FOMA handset NTT DoCoMo is releasing in the near future.
http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/product/foma/902i/so902i/
Sheesh.
This or the Nokia N80???!! im asking the same question Colin:)
#11 - Hahahahaha. I knew who you were before even reading your name. DS9 for life.
the N80 will be a much larger device.
Personally I'm going for a 6280 this month, then maybe an N80 if its not too large.
Whatever the specs, real or not, I wish they'd include a 7.2MP or better camera, with a big chip. Manual controls, etc., touchscreen, perhaps. Kill two devices with one. Finally.
THAT would be genious.
sorry, but that really does look like a photoshop to me.
the keypad and stuff around that looks like it's from the V600i, and the joystick thing looks like the W810i one but colored differently and all that. The back just looks like a creation of something to be the back.
But then again, i could be wrong...
and that could actually be the K800i...
which in that case, is very very nice...
and i would want one.
hahah
anyone find the name of the site it's from ironic?
'phoney'world?
Peter
#11 - DS9 Rules.
I would love for this phone to be real. And mine.
Anyone want a S710a?? Plz tell me...I'm selling mine to get this one!!
I want this phone...
Keep rockin it Sony. I love those phones, man.
I am glad I decided to get the cheaper t630 instead of the step-inbetween k700. The k800 has the features I was looking for.
It looks great, but for me, the back sliding cover of k750i is still better.
#22: Keep rockin' it SONY?? For real, which of the two companies you think got the tel tech know-how?
#28 - Ahhaha, yep... I'm glad you compared Sony and Apple's DRM because they're exactly the same! They should have launched the music stores with no DRMs and no major record labels! That would have shown those record labels! Yeah! We live in a world where every consumer wins with every decision and the best music is all independent and nobody has to pay for anything, but we all somehow still make a living -- hooray!
Maybe you should have a reality check before linking personal subjective design views on this phone to molesting a consumer. I'm sure you think Motorola, Nokia, and Samsung make amazing consumer-focused products and help define new markets in consumer electronics, setting the standards for usability, design, and economics.
This is an attractive to phone to someone like myself who hates flip phonesm they just add bulk and a hinge that is prone to break.. I've never had a phone last as long as my SE T610, while a friend with the Samsung A900 has had the hinge break twice when it fell out of his pocket, and he's now involved in a class action lawsuit against Samsung for their horribly sub-par bluetooth. My T610 has fallen out of my car window when I made corners, been dropped from the top of the fridge, fallen out of my pocket at movie theaters, and has never had a problem.
SE makes solid phones, great minimalist design, UI is one of the crispest color-screen UI designs out there (don't even get me started on Motorola or Samsung UI), and some of the lightest and best battery life phones on the market. I'm very excited for this phone!
