The guys at Datel pulled a
nice trick with their
4GB PSP
HDD/battery, and now they're back with the slightly less impressive feat of building a 4GB external HDD for the
Xbox 360. Yes it's "100% Xbox 360 compatible," but so
is every other external USB drive, so take that away and all you've got left is a pretty green LED. The drive pulls its
power over USB 2.0 from the 360, measures around 2-inches square, and at least it won't look out of place on your
console, but we're sure you could get better bang for your buck from a higher capacity 2.5-inch drive.
can you save games with this new harddrive

Thats not a hard drive, thats just a add on blue led light for customisation. I want the 360's hard drive, but its a pain to get one and at a decent price.
69.99 !!!!! Are the nuts... I bought a different drive a few days ago. A External USB 2.0 that has 120 Gigs!. It only cost me about 15.00 more than this piece of junk do not waste your money this is a dumb ass fan boy rip off spend wisely and go to another store better yet google this if you think I do not know what I am talking about ---> External USB 2.0 Hard Drives.
Be wise do not buy this crappy product it is a rip off !

MS needs to come with a new built-in HD larger than the 20GB HD packed with the Xbox 360. I suggest a 100GB HD at least.
Hmmmmm what the article and any other should state, is that USB HDD on a Xbox360 will only open up for playing music and videos off the drive, it does not work as replacement for MS 20GB attached HDD.
I was hoping to use my 3rd Gen ipod as a hard disc for XBOX live. Guess not?
I wish MS would make a standard 40gb at least with capibilites to copy video from your pc to it without media center.
#3. You can use one of Zen's for that, actually.
What's the reason for this again?
1. Not bigger
2. Costs...roughly the same
Advantages to it's existence? ... Okay then.
The 5GB Seagate 'cookie' drive isn't much bigger and can be found for $80. A far better value.
can you use it on a pc?
#7 You sure can use it on PC - after all it is just a USB Hard Drive like any other.
