Robosapien creator Tilden speaks out
If you've ever
wondered what goes on in the mind of Mark Tilden, creator of Robosapien and its mechanical brethren, you'll love this
interview at YouReview. Tilden sounds off on the Robosapien mods ("best potential hacks are installing stereo
camera transmitters in the head"), life as an expat robot-maker in Hong Kong ("it's just a good thing I liked
the movie Blade Runner so much") and what's next for WowWee ("Actually it's all top secret, but it'll be good.
Promise.") A great look at the man who made robots fun again (though he leaves out his plans for inevitable world
domination).

Tilden and Wowee have been making incredibly cool and interesting stuff for years.
Really great stuff!
I still have a couple of Cyber Spiders, and hacked one by replacing it's control board with that of a Plantraco Desktop Rover.
It's incredible to see a shiny robot spider laser tagging it up with small RC tanks, 50's Sci-Fi style!
Robots for everyone!
Just keep it Asimovian, okay? ;)
Always will and have loved Tilden's work. Mostly the BEAM stuff, ad Nv Nets though. And of couse walkman!
I love robosapien. Cheap robots are the way to go. It would be really cool if they could communicate with each other. When are these robots going to come with an API for those of us that dont like to get our hands dirty with control boards?
