it has to be from a laptop...look at the way the plugs are and look at the laptop power supply next to it. Actually after thinking about it, my dell x300 motherboard would fit perfect in someting like that...but why would i ruin it...
well good thing it has it's RS-232 port. Never know when you'll need to hook up a null modem cable. Even my IBM thinkpad doesn't have that port (well .. ok I do have a parallel port :( )
I don't know if any of you notice this, but that is a laptop motherboard in there. This is a great idea, but it could be pretty expensive for a fast gaming computer.

But can it actually hold alchohol?
Jesse @ Feb 5th 2006 7:52PM
@3nglish
A new type of "water" cooling huh?
Seeing such a small motherboard gives me tons ideas. You could fit something of that size into plenty of interesting things.
lolersticks @ Feb 5th 2006 8:08PM
Can it actually hold alcohol? No, but if it were sealed, it could theoretically hold pure alcohol.
Pure alcohol = non ionized
mkh @ Feb 5th 2006 8:30PM
So you're saying it can't hold its liquor?
Yusuke Iwakawa @ Feb 5th 2006 8:34PM

Computers = information networking tool
Booze = social networking tool
It only makes sense that as Americans we would combine the two and make things easier.

Nice build!

@nizzy1115
Uh, no. If you read the article it tells you its a 3.5" SBC motherboard.
Pinkerton @ Feb 6th 2006 10:17AM
So, can you fill it with peanut oil for cooling?

Ballentines is hardly a touch of class. The whiskey needs to be a single malt. But then, it would be a Mac!
crazykitty @ Feb 6th 2006 5:52PM
Great idea!
Gary Hussey @ Mar 17th 2006 4:41PM
It's the motherboard out of a laptop, the power cable gives it away.
Scott Harris @ Apr 17th 2007 9:06PM
Gary? Did you ever serve in the US Army?
C. Rivers @ Mar 25th 2006 6:02PM
With that computer you can really get wired!
Scott Harris @ Apr 17th 2007 9:05PM
Gary. Did you serve in Operation Desert Shield/Storm? Were you in the Army?
