Primera's Bravo XR-Blu 50-disc Blu-ray burner/labeler
Unless you need to distribute some pretty
serious amounts of high definition content, the Bravo XR-Blu probably isn't really your thing, but any machine that can
burn up to 2.5 terabytes or data unattended is worth at least a mention, no? We actually misspoke (purposely, to impress
you) when we said 2.5TB - that will be the capability of the next generation of Primera's 50-disc Blu-ray burner/color labeler. This version is only a single-layer
burner (Pioneer's new BDR-101A Blu-ray Disc/DVD Recorder), able to burn only half of the 50GB per disc possible with
the upcoming dual-layer, but that's still over a terabyte of infoswag that one can painlessly archive/distribute/sell
out of the trunk. Primera will have this model on display at CeBIT, but won't begin shipments until April, which might
actually benefit those folks who need some time to raise the six grand that this will retail for.

I wouldn't touch Primera with a 20 foot barge pole. Check out the reliability of their standard Bravo line.....

Very bad experiences with the mechanicals on this brand before; ended up having to babysit it continuously, and handle dropped CDs frequently enough that you couldn't do other work at all...weeks of pain and then resold it (warts and all).

We've got one of the "self duplicating" USB Bravo's... junk. I don't use it, but my video coworkers do. They've had to send it (and the one they bought in December) back several times. Several = 10+. I don't know why they purchased the larger version.
When it works it's great, no question. But frankly, I wouldn't trust it's reliability.

How about 100 Terabytes and Beyond on a 3.5 in. Disk ?

We use Primera's Bravo II for duping DVDs. HD content is coming, so this new product makes sense. Kind of expensive, but us early adopters are crazy for this stuff. The postings about Primera's reliablity surprise me. We have had NO problems at all with our unit. It's been a workhorse for us.
