Samsung goes after cellphone fakers

Looks like Samsung's officially no longer down with all those who keep it real fake, and has filed for legal action against some particular Chinese companies that are somehow actually operating above radar (like Tatung, Sampo, and DNET) over their respective infringing devices that happen to occasionally bear, um, "similarity" to some of Samsung's own devices. One named specifically was Tatung's TC809, listed for its supposed similarity to Samsung's D508. Obviously Samsung's tilting at windmills here, the TC809 similar to the D508? Puhlease. Anyway, we have to admit, we'd be kind of lost without the bigname knockoffs -- the Morotolas, the Snokias, the Samsumgs -- to guide us through the seamy gray-market underbelly of the world of consumer electronics.
