Turn your vintage Power Glove into a modern mouse
Ah, the Nintendo Power Glove. Just thinking about it brings back memories of those glorious early days of virtual reality, when we all imagined floating off to some alternate universe on the wisps of Jaron Lanier's dreadlocks. And, now, if you still have one of those classic controllers -- or can pick one up from someone clueless enough to part with it -- you can turn it into a modern mouse and use it to control your PC. No, it's not the simplest process, but when you're done, you'll be able to relive those halcyon days of yore while running Firefox (or playing GTA). Dreadlocks not included.

There have been plans available on the internet on how to do this since the early 90's.
A driver was written for windows called PowerMouse

Wow, or instead of going through all of that trouble you could have just bought one of those crappy P5 Gloves from essential-reality (the company that *I believe* originally created the NES power glove).

It was supposed to be as promising as the PowerGlove and the biggest of us geeks dropped $200 for it when it was released only to find that it was not a whole lot more than a floating mouse.
#4, Hackaday is probably ecstatic to have the traffic from Engadget... more ad revenue for them.
While is cool to remember and recycle old junk and i'm for it, 'cause i still own the original NES, SNES, Sega Master, Genesis and all of thouse old things, i never got one of these for the fear of getting electrical shocks resulting from sweating hands as many users experience. I'll have to say "No thanks" to the return of the Power Glove in ANY recycle form! I love my finger-activated mouse and my treatments glove-free.
