i-mate's PDA-N Windows Mobile Pocket PC with GPS
The HTC Galaxy wasn't ever much of a
looker, and i-mate's branding and color scheme for their new PDA-N isn't helping much, but all the Windows Mobile 5.0
and GPS goodness is still here, along with the WiFi, Bluetooth 1.1 and 300MHz processor. Unfortunately mapping software
isn't included, so you'll have to bring your own in order to fully enjoy the GPS capability, but otherwise the Pocket PC
is all set to join the recently added i-mate JAMin in the current i-mate crop
of Windows Mobile devices. [Warning: PDF link!]

The title of this article is misleading. The PDA-N is NOT a phone. Its just a PocketPC (sans Phone) running Windows Mobile 5.0
A pocket Pc with GPS? Now we're talking. It doesn't get any better than this. Then again...if they added a sounder (fish finder) then it would be perfect...j/k.
This shouldn't be big news... After all - if you want this, wouldn't you rather wait for the Pocket Loox 810/830? Stronger processor + phone and 3G?
Or am I missing something?
Not including mapping software is great! Usually they bundle inferior mapping software at the buyers expense. Now you can spend your money on your choice of software.
It is a phone and covers 4 systems!! better check before you say something stupide!!
