Looks like the SIP based VoiP client on the new Nokia's with WLAN will only work if combined with Cisco or Alcatel VoIP hardware. Kinda thought so, Mobile Network Providers would probably boycott Nokia if the new phones would allow VoIP calls via every open WLAN network (which are ALL over the place nowadays). So, now all we need is a regular SIP client for Symbian, but since the new version of Symbian requires all software be "Symbian signed", they'll most likely not sign a piece of software that will allow users to cut into Mobile Network Providers revenue.
