Replicants, they call them. Created for offworld
work. When one of them goes missing, they call me in. But this one's different. Created in the
likeness of Philip K. Dick by Hanson Robotics.
Vanished suddenly. Missing for weeks. No one knows what happened. But the story is that some museum called the
Smithsonian wanted to put him in a box and display him around the country. Not something a replicant would want. I
suspect this one has already found some like-minded supporters who will attempt to keep it offworld indefinitely. Too
bad he won't live. But then again, who does?
They found uncle ED.
Oh that was inspired Marc.
Nice homage to Blade Runner.
I bet he was just off taking a nap... dreaming of electric sheep.
Is he dreaming of unicorns?
hey, at least i got to see it at next fest
one word. WTF.
No, he's dreaming of electric sheep...
methinks Engadget needs to attribute sites like boingboing in the text instead of expecting people to click on the link to learn it wasn't written here.
looks like UK ex-Labour MP, Robin Cook !
Never can be too many references to BladeRunner...
Philip K. Dick, however, did NOT coin the term "REPLICANT" nor did he ever use it in Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Just a reminder in case you're a chicken head like JF and tend to forget such things... :)
Wait a second here... I just pulled a coin outta my pocket with PKD's likeness on it...
