They don't look like much to
write home about, but new kid on the block Prestigio announced today their 8ms 17-inch Prestigio P575 and 19-inch P595
monitors, with 500:1 / 550:1 contrast ratios, and 300 / 270 cd/m2 brightness levels, respectively, both with SXGA (1280
x 1024) resolutions. Expect them to run you about $250 or $300, depending on your size.
I have never heard of the company before. Are they at all reputable? I realize it says new kid on the block, but for engadget to report on them, there must be some info.
