how much do you think the normal ds will go down in price one this one comes out and do you guys have any clue how much the ds lite will cost?
That video is KER-AZY! How come we dont get tv that funny over here? I'd love to know what that video said about the psp....
I'm looking forward to holding this gadget in my hands ;) It have all chances to beat psp.
Aw man, no thank you to me? Bah. hah
Oh well.
The DS lite looks much smaller when held by people than it does in promo shots.
I love Japanese tv - wish I could remember my high school japanese though :(
Am I the only one who thinks that the DS Lite is as big of a waste of money as the Gameboy Advance SP was? It's the same product, only a bit smaller (or in the SP's case, differently shaped). You could always buy rechargable batteries for your regular Gameboy Advance if you wanted the same result as the SP.
Anyways, I pity anyone who buys this thing when they already own a regular DS. Sheep...
WOW! I wonder when Nintendo will make it available in the US...
Browsing the web on the DS?
If on the PSP browsing is limited, is always crashing and out of memory.. IMAGINE ON THE DS!!
That's gonna be a total piece of crap.
Not wasting my money on that.
Well, Ds is very capable of pulling this off. If i read correctly, the browser will use the gba cartridge slot and the DS one. Im sure the program isnt large at all, so if they can use the space on the cartridges for browsing, it should be pretty smooth. Also factor in each screen has its own processor.
#1, the video said about the PSP, that they are working on a wireless TV software:

The whole video was basically about how the DS is more of an all around entertainment handheld than just a gaming handheld.
what codec do I need to view this video? My media player gives an error.
nice video..

Wow. Don't be such a tool.
Did you ever think that maybe the PSP was such crap at surfing because it was added as a quasi-after thought?
Oh, yeah, and let's not forget how you input text on the PSP. What a joke. At least the DS has the touch screen which will provide a better user experience.
More and more, though, it looks like that the DS and the PSP find their competition in the likes of Nokia's Internet Tablet 770 than in other bona-fide portable gaming systems.
All i get is the sound..some one please give me a link to the video!!
Dear all you haters...,
All you guys need to quit your bitching because you know that you are just going to buy one anyway.
The DS rocks. On my lunch hour, I go to the McDonald's across the street from where I work and pimpslap people in Tokyo at MarioKart, over the internet , FOR FREE!
Even my friend who works at sony and has tested all the games that you freaks are probably nutting in your pants over as we speak, agrees that the psp bites. It is painful to play for more than a few minutes. they have nicknamed the shape that your hand takes after playing for more than an hour the "PSP claw". Sony knows that this is such a crappy design that they give their testers slighty more ergonomically correct holders that spread your hand further apart so that they don't fall off. And, he hates the fact that since they pay him, he has to play all the crap you fools salivate over. The best part of his job is he knows that there are millions of you monkey poo flinging minions that wish you had his job. I just like the fact that I get to go to E3 with him. (ha! Ha! HA!!! Bitches!!)
$200 bucks for 1GB of storage space???!!!
my iPod (another ripoff) only cost $300 bucks for 30 GB. and it plays videos AND i don't have to cary a crapload of UMDs.
I think the only place you would get raped more is in a Tia Juana prison.
Nintendo DS *WITH* MarioKart DS: $150
Sony PlayStationPortable and ...NOTHING: $250.
I think sombodys butt is sore.
Sony should have stopped with the MiniDisc Idea. that was pretty good. I still have that.
As far as the PSP video webbrowsing capablities, you forget that the PSP discs are read-only and that the DS cartriges will be a much faster media connection than a disc spining in a sub-par proprietary piece of crap DVD-rom .
Remember how you never had to wait for load times in a N64 game? And how the graphics were 10 times better than the PS1?
Same deal.
Long story short, the PSP is an overrated, over priced piece of mass marketed crap....
Yes, I know I am a Nintendo fanboy...
and you're a Sony whore. :)
PS: The website above is not real. I know that all you Sony fanboys will try to load it at least half a dozen times. So, just stop trying and go back to playing Final Fantasy MCX!V or whatever Square Enioux is spoon feeding you this month.
