Curiously enough, this camera is also marketed under the brand names of Praktika and Jenoptik in the UK. I own a Rollei verion and I have to say that compared to my last 3.2MB Canon, this is outstanding. The 30fps video is easily as good as that from a cheap, dedicated video camera. We can argue all day about the ins and outs of digital photography, but this camera is a little cracker. Come on then Canon, where is your offering?
