Showtime's Showbox debuts in the middle east

No one seems to actually have a shot of this thing yet, but apparently Showtime (yes, that Showtime) is rolling out their own 40 hour DVR in the Middle East called the Showbox. Though details are sparse, we know customers in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE can get it, and that it has multiple outputs and possibly home streaming (apparently one Showbox can be used to put programming on two TVs not necessarily in the same room, but requires two service subscriptions); perhaps the most interesting thing, however, just that Showtime loves providing counterpoints to HBO, who have historically taken a very strict and immutable anti-DVR stance, backing the broadcast flag time and again.
