Chocolate Xbox 360 controller gets candy console companion
What is it about
video game hardware that encourages some folks to pay homage by creating detailed likenesses in the medium of
chocolate? We first picked up on this peculiar "confectionery affection" back when Engadget Spanish featured
a chocolate PSP
as part of a contest they were running, and we recently spotted an even more intricate Chocobox 360
controller (wireless, of course). Well now we've seen a sculpted masterpiece that "takes the cake" in this
nascent art, an entire chocofied Xbox 360 console that's located in Microsoft's European BeNeLux headquarters, that
manages to look both entertaining and delicious at the same time. Microsoft engineers say that they are very close to
producing a fully functional version of this chocolate 360, but they're being held back by a problematic power brick
design- apparently the darn thing keeps melting itself on startup.

Looks kinda ugly :)
But the most important, can I eat it?
i wonder if this is hand made or 'printed' with a 3d printer.. if it's the latter i'd say these kind of merchandise could prove popular..
Looks like someone spray painted a 360.
Nice. would be nicer if I could get my hands on a *REAL* xbox 360.

`-^
I'd buy it, though i'd probably complain about the fact that i can't play any games on it.
yeah, the sad fact is this is probably easier to buy than a real one...
It needs a choice of caramel-filled, crispy, or candy-coated faceplates.
Excuse me while I ask you a stupid question...what would the purpose of a chocolate 360 be?
Just pop in the Willy Wonka DVD and you will be good to go. I can hear the tune now..."you can even eat the systems...".
actually, it would be a chocholate fudge 360 b/c the system gets so hot. and good luck with a chocholate powerbrick.
How do they keep it from melting?
Plug it in and lick it. If you live then sue.
This would be perfect for sale in the chocolate New Orleans.
melts in your hands, not in your mouth.
Fantastic!! Easter sales sales would rocket.
Choco, very interesting,
a little liquor would supercharge that greatly.
I love chocolate (eating it that is), now as a colour on an xbox 360 not sure about that, although it would match my wood flooring better than my current xbox 360.
