So,
what would Steve Jobs do?
We asked last week, and we took your answers in the form of over three hundred and fifty photoshopped mockups. We had a
couple of Newtons, a ton of tablets, and a huge swarm of video iPods -- and a ton of miscellaneous stuff that both
amused and bemused us during the hours we spent judging. While it's always hard hard to pick winners in these things,
we thought first place took it with a bullet -- but one entry was so good, we had to give out a second place prize for
the laugh.

There's enough here to keep Stevie J swimming in new product intro's for three or four years. Of all of the great ideas presented, the one that has to have the rest of the world (Moto, Nokia, LG, etc) most concerned (and Cingular the happiest)is the iPhone.

Wow, some cool stuff there. I'd buy some of it if it was real, but I probably wouldn't be able to afford it if Apple made it. (I went into the Apple store the other day, the prices were ridiculous.)
Looks like some people aren't getting the joke with the iPod shuffle video. See, the existing shuffle has no screen. People don't like that. So the shuffle video is funny because it STILL has no screen.
That's my take on it, anyway.

BUT, having said that! I do think that they design their software well, make it easy to use. I just wish I could buy the Mac OS and stick it on my laptop!!! I luv my Sony laptop too much.

It is difficult to believe, what talented people live among us., that production Apple - an ideal earlier seemed to me, nothing needs to be changed. And now, having looked these projects - has sharply replaced opinion:)

OMG !!! Some guys have done a tablet called "iPad" !!
This is really fascinating looking back at it years later, how some of these photoshopped ideas have actually come to life, and then some appear to be much better ideas than what Apple has actually come out with. The current macbook is not all that different from some of these shown here; apple did go on to make an ipod nano shaped much like yazdgerd's. However, they now have a tablet that is just embarrassing in comparison with many of those pictured here that model it with real mac os, what arguably is far better than the real ipad.
The people with the iPad, MacBook Tablets, and iPhones did great. You guys should submit your art to Apple, maybe they would consider those. iPhone 2 will be out soon, trust me.
