Sharp debuts 904SH, first with VGA display

We've been hearing rumblings of a Sharp VGA phone since before 3GSM, but Vodafone has finally announced the 904SH, a 3G phone sporting four times the fun of QVGA at a 480x640 resolution. There's also a 3.2 megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom and autofocus, a 3D motion sensor, Bluetooth, GPS, miniSD storage, and WCDMA (UMTS) data. The phone should be available in Japan late April, let's hope for some swift imports.

Yeah, the color makes me want to hurl, but the specs are awesome. Someone start making some skins, cause (for this phone) skins are gonna sell like he11.

You guys obviouselly don't know style when you see one. The color is awesome. Stands out from every other boring color design out there. It's just too bad that it's a clam-shell design... when will they learn??...

Love the cobalt blue. Too bad they want with the same tiny one-line external mono LCD as the 703. Absolutely useless by anyone with youthful gadget lust but eyes over 40!

Just come out of a Vodafone shop in Tokyo with a brand new 904SH. Im loving it! Face recog works well, you can assign multiple users, and have mutple photos per user. There is always the backup of entering a pin. GPS works a treat too! Not managed any of the games such as Golf yet, as theyre all in Japanese.
