naviPlay Bluetooth Stereo Headset for calls and mobile/iPod tunes
TEN Technology has just
released a versatile new pair of Bluetooth headphones that both communicate with their naviPlay Bluetooth Adapter for iPod
(included in the package) and also serve as a headset for Bluetooth-enabled cellphones. Furthermore, the naviPlay
Bluetooth Stereo Headset can stream tunes from any A2DP-equipped handset or DAP as well as being a VoIP headset for PCs
that sport Bluetooth. TEN went with an "old school high end design" for this model which go over the user's
head, as opposed to behind the neck, include buttons for volume, track, and call control, and feature a rechargeable
battery with a claimed 8-hour duration. These multi-functional 'phones are available online, immediately at Dr. Bott
and at the Apple Store Online later this month, for $200.

uh, how do you talk, or are you just supposed to answer the phone and listen...
First post! I like chocolate smores...
My favorite part of comment talk-backs is when some moron calls first and isn't.
someone should have invented these years ago, seriously, instead of wasting our time with phones that download the latest Blackeyed Peas video :-(. If I had a quarter for every time I've missed a call because my headphones were too loud to hear my phone I'd be able to...probably buy these headphones.
Could you use them as a twin-mono headset on a mp3 phone with bt? In other words, would I get mono sound in both ears? Or do I need A2DP to make nice here?

I can't speak about the headphones specifically, but I own a pair of Bluetake's iPhono mini's (which are like these, stereo bluetooth headphones & headset), and I can say that they definately do dual-mode mono for phones that don't have the A2DP profile. Also, another great thing these headphones do is being dual-paired to both your phone and computer so you can listen to tunes, and switch over to phone when a call comes in.
The iPhono mini's , are in my opinion the best bluetooth device I've ever owned and they can be had for about $50 cheaper if you really need that iPod adapter, or $100 cheaper if you just want the headphones themselves. I highly recommend these bad boys =).
I like the iMuffs better
The future is here. Well.. it's been here. But at least it's gaining a foothold on the present. Now all I need is color e-ink, nano printers, an unobtrusive HMD, and a robot and I'm set.
If you haven't seen Roujin-Z yet, you probably should. That's all of us in old age.
good product, keep job. i like it

It very cool device. How much it coast. I want to bay it.
eCom - What do you expect from a pair of headphones? I mean come on, they're black with some foam and they play shit... that's all that matters.
I for one think these look pretty slick.
Marshall and Frederick--
Thanks, dudes. I'll look into the iphonos. Right now I'm stuck on an LG VX8100, which I like quite a bit but it's no Treo. Need the firmware update to 6.x so the damn mp3 buttons on the front work. But it would be nice to have a wireless headset that can rock the tunes and do the calls. Again, thanks for the info!

I think the iMuffs look much better and sound great and they're supposed to be coming out with a version for the video and nano any day now. (www.wi-gear.com)
SH-
Regretably, the VX8100 doesn't support the A2DP audio profile, so you can't use it with wireless stereo headphones. Even with my standard BT headset, MP3s, games and other audio output comes through the speakers, not the headset (although voice stuff works fine.)
JP.
Where can I buy the iPhono minis? I did a quick search and all I can find are reviews and the official site. I'm mainly curious about price.
