DS Lite exposed (SFW)
Continuing
a sacred tradition that must have begun when Charles and Vincent Chevalier tore apart their first sliding wooden
box camera and photographed the insides with their second camera, the Nintendo DS Lite is the latest gadget to find itself stripped and posed for a
pr0nographic photo shoot. Follow along as the brave test subject goes from fully assembled handheld console to a
splayed-out pile of plastic, fasteners, and circuit boards, somehow managing to retain a quiet dignity throughout. Keep
clicking for a few more pics or hit the "Read" link for the full "monty"...

Purdy. Definately getting one...I'll import if the UK date is too far away. Why sin't there a black version?!
Wonder how any 3rd DS would be smaller....
awww yeahhhhhhhhh....
It's a non working machine, notice there are no IC on the PCB...
It was also on one of the pictures: http://ruliweb4.dreamwiz.com/ruliboard/gup/img_link5/63266_10.jpg
Yes, but were they able to put it back together again? That is the test of truly leet skillz.
Like that time I took apart my Rio Carbon... what a freakin' mess.
read link is broken..!!!
Were those pics taken from here? :

I'll definately be getting one of these.
Where are all the IC chips?? it looks like a blank PC board, and if you go to the link, it says on the bottom, "Non Working, Exemplaire Factice"
Maybe the read link was not broken just might not be formed correctly or your browsere was waiting for you to read the adds' or it was still downloading the adds.
Yeah, if you look at the PCB there are markings indicating where actual chips would be were it a working model.
Hey, where to look at the working one?
The big 'X' in marker pen doesn't look like something you'd find on a real one either.
Cute though, might get one.
Yes #7...it appears that those photos were taken directly from that web site. Now who is trying to take credit for the photos?
wow.... for some reason I remember seeing these pictures three weeks ago. You guys seem a bit behind the times.
You know I love my DS, but this new one has me jonesing for another purchase. Its smaller, brighter and lighter. So nice. Lets hope we get a us release date soon.
This is not a working unit, it doesn't have any components on it. It's most probably a sample given to a manufacturing plant to show the workers how these things are supposed to be put together.

Suprise suprise! Apple has born another beast.
this is really old news. I saw this on another website almost 3 weeks ago.

Note the date on that.
Indeed, old. And the "(SFW)" in the title wasn't funny. At least, not to me.
Now we know for sure that Lite looks better when it is in One peace!
Does anyone notice the resemblance between the circuit board and the flying-robot ships from TRON?
