iubi's blue media player with Bluetooth
We can't confirm
the name is actually "blue," but from the looks of it iubi's got a new portable media device in the pipeline with Bluetooth
(we hope for A2DP), a 4.3-inch display with optional T-DMB receiver. We should probably see this thing debuted later
this week at CeBIT, just don't get your hopes up about this thing seeing a US launch (at least not any time soon) --
you all know the drill by now.

I'm first!
Does anyone know if this particular model has GPS attachment? If it does, i think that would be awesome. If it doesnt, maybe the unit's bluetooth can piggy back off your GPS-equiped cell phones...just a thought.
What will be the price?
Its crazy that some of the coolest media players dont usually smell U.S shores. Whats up with that?!
Finally a company that has the sense to include more connectivity!
That's the one thing people want from their mp3 players/PMPs, the ability to share their content to their friends on the go.
I'm sure in a few years wifi and bluetooth in these types of devices will be standard and we'll all wonder how we ever managed without.

This thing actually sounds very impressive.
8hours of video playback is great.
One thing they forgot to mention is the size of storage and type. Most likely an internal HD, i can't imagine without.
If they make this less than 60GB someone needs to kick the CEO in the cack.
I notice the vast majority of PMP's have controls on the right hand side. Bit handist really, unless of course they have the ability to rotate and reverse the controls to make them more lefty friendly.
Only 10% of the world is left-handed. Go down to Ned Flanders' Leftorium and buy something else...
I struggle to believe that only 10% of the world is left handed, Wikipedia isn't always as truthful as you'd like.
Yeh would be nice to be able to flip it, Atart Lynx style ;)
This (as well as the non bluetooth version) are dubbed the PMP 2500B & PMP 2500 respectively.
Although the specs look nice, they (iUbi) overlooked one major feature, the headphone out jack is only 12mw x2 (left & right) at 16 ohms; basically, if you have Grado's, Senns, AKGs, Beyerdynamic's, or other high impedance headphones, they won't go very loud and will sound very muffled unless you get an amp. For some earbuds, it may be fine however.
There is also a Navi-4300 with GPS and it runs WinCE Net 5.0.
I got my info regarding this PMP from http://www.DAPReview.net a few days ago.
OMFG!!!1!!
let me just say that the iubi blue is HANDSDOWN the BEST pmp ive used yet. i used by friends super glitchy zen vision, and the retardedly small screen version the zen vision:M, the super thick and heavy Archos AV 320 and the slightly better 420, ive even used that lame i-STATION.
the iubi blue rawks!
first off its super sleek black polish doesnt leave tons of fingerprints like ipods do. the screen is beautiful! yew can see it clearly from ANY orientation. it plays like EVERY video codec out there, even legacy mpeg and divx filez! and the transcoder software lets yew reencode the file types it can nativly play! it is super fast between songs and movies, the applications are responsive, yet a bit complex (for the n00bz)... the recorder is awesome and makes amazing recordings that look good on the iubi, the pc, and burnt to dvd! but the software took a while to fully grasp. the english directions are vague and not well written. yes you can change the background/color scheme.
cons: the iubi comes with a korean ac-adapter w/ a uk converter, that does me no good here in the usa. but you can charge it w/ usb! full charged w/ usb takes a wile (do it at night). you can use the blue while uploading files :( besides that it does it all!!!!!1!!!!
a think that ~$400 us it a steal for this device! i want to say that i am one of the 1st us people to grab this device, but i seriously doubt i will be the last!
