Ah, it's ok, you can admit that you forgot our
birthday. We guess it's not too late to send us gift basket or anything, but you know how we roll here at Engadget, and
so to celebrate our 2nd anniversary we've been blowing it out with seven days of giveaways.
Today we're giving away a
T-Mobile MDA (aka
HTC Wizard). Winning this fine instrument is easy: just tell us one
of your favorite Engadget posts of the past year. It can be anything (except this post): a regular post, an interview, a
how-to, a review, or whatever, just post a comment below with a link to it along with a couple of lines about why it's
your fave and we'll pick a winner at random. Three runners-up will each win an Engadget t-shirt.
A couple of
things:
- You can only enter each day's contest once. If you post more than once you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred from all future giveaways. (Yes, we're checking thoroughly to ensure
fairness.)
- You can only win once. (If you win and go for a second prize, you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred, etc.)
- Contests are open to anyone, anywhere.
Unless you work for Engadget or Weblogs, Inc.
We'll keep comments open for about 24 hours, best of luck to
everyone and thanks for all of your support for these past two years!
Yesterday's winner:
Oluwaseun!
Congratulations, Oluwaseun!

But my favorite? Your CES2006 Coverage. It was awesome and depressing (I missed a few things that you guys talked about) I just wish I had been able to d/l it at night... Also, could you bring back the blogs from CES or put them somwhere we can see them!
the old time 1980's post was slammin'.
The Celestron Sky Scout was my favorite post. I definately plan on getting one and Engadget was the first place I saw it.
my favorite post would have to be:
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/27/wwjd-3-results/
it really shows of some of the more clever people in the community
(I especially liked the igiveup)
my treo 600 is KAPUT!!

It's what i have been waiting for!
I liked the The PlayStation 3 delay meme, part VI: Variety sez holidays 06 post since it makes Sony look bad. :)
I think this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2005/02/05/play-tetris-on-a-building-in-france-using-your-cellphone/
is awesome. Just imagine the 360 (or PS3 if you are that way so inclined) on a screen that big.
sign me up please! Favorite post was the treo 700p photo post with the link to treocentral.com...
I just got fired from T-Mobile's B2B sales channnel and they canceled my employee phone order for an MDA. On top of that, they won't let me get "new activation pricing discounts" since I am an existing customer and I gotta stick with the T-Mo because it's the only one that works at my house (oddly enough)! Please hook me up with this. I had a customer primed to buy 166 of these with voice and data activations in May - if I hadn't been fired! I have documentation to back all this up. Happy Birthday.
eh? hm? YEAH!
Loved the Video iPod fakery.
Happy Birthday, y'all!

Anyone know of ANY differences in the capabilities of the MDA versus the 8125
The engadget 1985 because retro is cool
http://www.engadget.com/2005/08/22/engadget-1985/
I loved all the Revo controller mock-up info thru out the year
I've found your coverage of the Microsoft Origami to be the best on the net. The mystery and rumours surrounding it have been interesting, and it looks like its gonna be cool.

LASER GUN, BABY!

Far and away; four of these, plus that giant metal mech that dude in Alaska had on ebay = party!

I loved the Treo 700 First Look. That's what made me fall in love with engadget.com
http://www.engadget.com/2005/09/22/the-palm-treo-700w-aka-treo-670-exclusive-first-look/
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/26/video-ipod-fakery-exposed-on-video/
Hilarious fakery, watching someone photoshop the hopes and dreams of thousands of people, then crush their spirits a few weeks later was just awesome.

pick any pda phone you want ^^
I love HTC phones. Would love to see how this one fairs.
Happy Birthday Engadget! Heres to many many more!
...and to much drinking!...and merryment!....yupeeee!
I like engadget, because it caters to geeks, who want real items, and provides the scoop. the reviews and even some biting commentary when needed. I have been lusting the HTC devices for the past month.. and well, I need one for a multitude of reasons.. chief among them, to push the technology envelope without ye olde credit card.
Wow! I've complete run out of any good ideas. Well, happy birthday to you guys!
