Ah, it's ok, you can admit that you forgot our
birthday. We guess it's not too late to send us gift basket or anything, but you know how we roll here at Engadget, and
so to celebrate our 2nd anniversary we've been blowing it out with seven days of giveaways.
Today we're giving away a
T-Mobile MDA (aka
HTC Wizard). Winning this fine instrument is easy: just tell us one
of your favorite Engadget posts of the past year. It can be anything (except this post): a regular post, an interview, a
how-to, a review, or whatever, just post a comment below with a link to it along with a couple of lines about why it's
your fave and we'll pick a winner at random. Three runners-up will each win an Engadget t-shirt.
A couple of
things:
- You can only enter each day's contest once. If you post more than once you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred from all future giveaways. (Yes, we're checking thoroughly to ensure
fairness.)
- You can only win once. (If you win and go for a second prize, you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred, etc.)
- Contests are open to anyone, anywhere.
Unless you work for Engadget or Weblogs, Inc.
We'll keep comments open for about 24 hours, best of luck to
everyone and thanks for all of your support for these past two years!
Yesterday's winner:
Oluwaseun!
Congratulations, Oluwaseun!

the old time 1980's post was slammin'.
The Celestron Sky Scout was my favorite post. I definately plan on getting one and Engadget was the first place I saw it.
my favorite post would have to be:
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/27/wwjd-3-results/

I liked the The PlayStation 3 delay meme, part VI: Variety sez holidays 06 post since it makes Sony look bad. :)
I think this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2005/02/05/play-tetris-on-a-building-in-france-using-your-cellphone/
is awesome. Just imagine the 360 (or PS3 if you are that way so inclined) on a screen that big.
sign me up please! Favorite post was the treo 700p photo post with the link to treocentral.com...
I just got fired from T-Mobile's B2B sales channnel and they canceled my employee phone order for an MDA. On top of that, they won't let me get "new activation pricing discounts" since I am an existing customer and I gotta stick with the T-Mo because it's the only one that works at my house (oddly enough)! Please hook me up with this. I had a customer primed to buy 166 of these with voice and data activations in May - if I hadn't been fired! I have documentation to back all this up. Happy Birthday.
eh? hm? YEAH!
Loved the Video iPod fakery.
Happy Birthday, y'all!
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/26/video-ipod-fakery-exposed-on-video/

The engadget 1985 because retro is cool
http://www.engadget.com/2005/08/22/engadget-1985/
I loved all the Revo controller mock-up info thru out the year
I've found your coverage of the Microsoft Origami to be the best on the net. The mystery and rumours surrounding it have been interesting, and it looks like its gonna be cool.

LASER GUN, BABY!

I like engadget, because it caters to geeks, who want real items, and provides the scoop. the reviews and even some biting commentary when needed. I have been lusting the HTC devices for the past month.. and well, I need one for a multitude of reasons.. chief among them, to push the technology envelope without ye olde credit card.
Wow! I've complete run out of any good ideas. Well, happy birthday to you guys!

I really liked the announcement of the Intel Macbook Pro. And I really want this phone. :)
GOOOPOOOOOO
I like the post about the Digital Cowboy DCT-DPM1, there was some good humour in there, it made me giggle.
The post on the razr slider. Pretty sweet phone.
Happy Birthday Engadget!!
My favorite post of the year had to be:
http://robots.engadget.com/2006/02/08/t/
because the robot in this post iss so cool. Whats cool about it is its ability to transform and also to move in either form. I think th e should put these robots out on the market or something.
the recent one about a robot... freaky.
In.
PodCasts!!! I love the engadget podcasts!
Pick me! Pick me!!
http://www.engadget.com/2005/12/09/denons-new-avr-4306-a-v-receiver-ethernet-streaming-internet/

my favorite posts were the leaks, coverage, and reviews leading up to the launch of the Ipod Nano and Video.

nokia nhttp://www.engadget.com/2006/02/22/former-gizmondo-execs-crashed-1m-ferrari-enzo/
Cuz the CEO is a jackass and crashed a million dollar Enzo. He could have just given it to me.
Pick Me!!!!!!
Oh My God! I almost had a myocardial infarction(thats a heart atttack to the uninitiated!) when I saw the prize up for grabs!! The only word to describe it is WOW! Thats also precisely the word me and my mates use to describe the info that you guys come up with on the feeds! Simply amazing and up to the minute. Here in India, we rarely get to see top notch hardware and gadgets except in our dreams and in some millionaires hands (that too only on tv!! :P)
Me and my buddies were very much interested in the article regarding the robot used to carry weights for the US Army. (http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/03/bigdog-robot-to-carry-gear-for-troops/)
We ourselves are undergoing a course in robotics and it was an inspiration to come up with something except we are going to change the specs a little bit and make it such that it helps the disabled and elderly. After all every one has a chance at a better life!
Kudos to Engadget to inspiring us and I hope that the rightful fans are properly honoured.
Last but not least, this may only be your second birthday, but I envision many many more with lots of success on the way!
Rock On!
I WANT ONE!
I want one because I want to get mine hacked like paris hilton!
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
