Ah, it's ok, you can admit that you forgot our
birthday. We guess it's not too late to send us gift basket or anything, but you know how we roll here at Engadget, and
so to celebrate our 2nd anniversary we've been blowing it out with seven days of giveaways.
Today we're giving away a
T-Mobile MDA (aka
HTC Wizard). Winning this fine instrument is easy: just tell us one
of your favorite Engadget posts of the past year. It can be anything (except this post): a regular post, an interview, a
how-to, a review, or whatever, just post a comment below with a link to it along with a couple of lines about why it's
your fave and we'll pick a winner at random. Three runners-up will each win an Engadget t-shirt.
A couple of
things:
- You can only enter each day's contest once. If you post more than once you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred from all future giveaways. (Yes, we're checking thoroughly to ensure
fairness.)
- You can only win once. (If you win and go for a second prize, you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred, etc.)
- Contests are open to anyone, anywhere.
Unless you work for Engadget or Weblogs, Inc.
We'll keep comments open for about 24 hours, best of luck to
everyone and thanks for all of your support for these past two years!
Yesterday's winner:
Oluwaseun!
Congratulations, Oluwaseun!
Sidekick be damned. Gimme one of them purdy HTC's. Thanks, Engadget.
I hope your not giving these away to the "poor me postings" and sticking to making people RTFM - i.e. post a link and tell why you liked it... /rant

Most memorable of the Engadget posts so far. Mostly because my kids made me play the video about 10,000 times over the holidays.
I liked the story where the Engadget editor was smarmy...oh wait...
My favorite post was the introduction of the av500 which eventually led to my purchasing it.
A Happy Birthday to you!!!
happy bday
My fav post:
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/28/voodoopc-plans-8tb-media-pc/
Talking about the ultimate DVR box :)
I need a new phone. I am still using a V3682 Vader, which if anyone has ever used has a horrible battery life and speaker!
I could use one ;-))
The Pink iPod Nano tie:

http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/09/apple-still-at-work-on-true-video-ipod/
Don't know if this thing is real or not, but if it is, I want one of them when it comes out.
Starving grad student here. I could really use a new phone.
I've been patiently awaiting the origami and have been enjoying all of the Engadget coverage

http://robots.engadget.com/2006/03/01/neural-robotics-incorporated-equips-autocopter-with-12-gauge-sho/
This sounded badass and scary just from reading. Then, following the "read" link and reading the actual article I realized that calling this robot's weapon "a shotgun" was like calling that semi p. diddy rode to the grammys in "a car". That thing can switch between crazy giant shotguna shell, high explosive shells, and who knows what else. And it can fly in there like robocop without concern for its own life, since it has none. truly bad news for whoever angers whichever nation(s) deploy these things. Another excellent job of informing and scaring the beheezus out of me at the sam time. Hooray for you!
Poops
The series about digital television
http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/17/digital-television-part-1-making-sense-of-it-all/
-gave me all and more information than I ever wanted to know
I like
http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/22/apples-media-cube-spotted/

http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/04/pope-benedict-xvi-scores-2gb-ipod-nano-wanted-4gb/
For whatever reason thinking of the pope in all his 'pope gear' with some white phones and that big hat makes me laugh so hard that coffee comes out of my nose.
Can a canuck win? I love the Toshiba Qosimo
1 word 4 letters and a Post-Scriptum: WWJD
PS: What about non- US residents?
http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/02/sony-hdr-hc3-hd-camcorder-reviewed/

Favorite recent post:

Our Lab puppies recently ate my X50v. A new T-MO MDA would fill that void in my geek way of life.

All this speculation reminds me of Apple...except with a lot of "official" leaks :P

The "What Would Jobs Do" post was sweet! The cool thing about it was that it enabled Engadget to tap into the creative minds of its readers. If Adam K's Apple Tablet was available now, I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Another One I like:
USB Air Darts

http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/11/playstation-3-hardware-is-barely-superior-to-xbox-360/
Call me a console fanboy, but this has been my favorite post so far- Maybe get a few people to stop bashing the 360 for its' 'inferior hardware.'
Keep up the awesome work, Engadget!
