Ah, it's ok, you can admit that you forgot our
birthday. We guess it's not too late to send us gift basket or anything, but you know how we roll here at Engadget, and
so to celebrate our 2nd anniversary we've been blowing it out with seven days of giveaways.
Today we're giving away a
T-Mobile MDA (aka
HTC Wizard). Winning this fine instrument is easy: just tell us one
of your favorite Engadget posts of the past year. It can be anything (except this post): a regular post, an interview, a
how-to, a review, or whatever, just post a comment below with a link to it along with a couple of lines about why it's
your fave and we'll pick a winner at random. Three runners-up will each win an Engadget t-shirt.
A couple of
things:
- You can only enter each day's contest once. If you post more than once you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred from all future giveaways. (Yes, we're checking thoroughly to ensure
fairness.)
- You can only win once. (If you win and go for a second prize, you'll be
automatically disqualified and barred, etc.)
- Contests are open to anyone, anywhere.
Unless you work for Engadget or Weblogs, Inc.
We'll keep comments open for about 24 hours, best of luck to
everyone and thanks for all of your support for these past two years!
Yesterday's winner:
Oluwaseun!
Congratulations, Oluwaseun!
I think that "Engadget 1985" was the best post last year. I was well into the post before it occurred to be that it was not real. I remember the BBS days and you were right on target.
One of my favs; the latest ASIMO:
http://www.engadget.com/2005/12/13/hondas-asimo-robot-gets-an-upgrade-and-a-new-job/
I know it's probably not exciting to most, but I'm thrilled by the idea of having one. HA.
Great quote:
"ASIMO can always go back to being a bum, and is now even capable of pushing a cart full of his belongings, allowing him to really embrace the lifestyle we know he was made for."
I liked the review of the Cingular 2125.
My favorite Engadget posts are the rumor posts.

Simply because it is fun to occasionally go back and review what hopes and dreams have been dashed, and what awesome proof-of-concepts have been made real.
lets win something
My favorite is the interview with Bill Gates.
Winner

Man... This is one of the coolest and most useful things I've ever seen -- I'm building a home studio, and needless to say this was definately added to the list of things to get. Thanks.
Milo
i liked all the CES coverage myself
you finally set my mind at ease with the RIM-NTP settlement article

Happy B-day!
The most recent post that I really liked was about MS Origami story.
http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/01/is-microsofts-origami-ready-to-take-wing/
Even though the original web site took off the link to the swf file, since a lot of good insights and heated discussion happened here so we could all taste the fun of discovering what was coming.
Good job!
I'll take one, thanks
