If you look at the website, there's actually a basketball pair that does not have quite as much chrome. Those shoes could only be worn by the best basketball player on the playground. This has got to be some sort of early April Fool's joke.
Doppler effect is gonna be annoying. Every swing of your foot is going to change the pitch of the audio files you're hearing, so running or even walking is going to cause the music to sound all messed up.
