Airspan announces 16eUSB mobile WiMax adapter

Airspan announced their "16eUSB" mobile WiMax adapter today, apparently the first device of its kind. The short of it is that this adapter will give you access to just about any WiMax network you can find, anywhere in the world.  That means it's compatible with 802.16e-2005 and the WiMax Forum’s profile for mobile WiMax, includes beam-forming and MIMO, and operates in all key WiMAX frequency bands, including 2.3-2.4 GHz, 2.5-2.7 GHz, 3.3-3.7 GHz. Unfortunately, Airspan hasn't said how much the device will cost nor given any indication as to when it will be available.
