BenQ bulks up digicam line with six models
We don't expect to see BenQ taking on the major digicam players anytime soon, but the company is showing that
it wants to be taken seriously in the point-and-shoot sector, and to prove it, they're showing off no fewer than six
models at CeBIT. The pack is led by the X610, a 6 megapixel shooter that BenQ bills as the world's slimmest 6-megapixel
camera with a 3-inch LCD (not to be confused with the world's slimmest 5 megapixel cam with a 3-inch LCD, or the world's
slimmest 6 megapixel camera with a 2.5-inch LCD, of course). The X610 also features the standard point-and-shoot specs:
3X optical zoom, 30 fps VGA movie mode and USB 2.0. The rest of the lineup is divided into three series: the Elegance
series includes the previously announced 6-megapixel E600, which has a rotating lens that BenQ says makes zooming
faster (pictured) and 5-megapixel E520 . The Classic series features the 5-megapixel C530 and 6-megapixel C30, and the
Performance series features the P500, which has a 5X optical zoom.

I'm really not diggin the whole, off-center lense in the lense bit... Maybe its just me... Oh, and I would _never_ buy a BenQ digital camera... Something about "Nikon" or "Canon" or "Sony" just has a nice ring to it, even "Konica Minolta". But "BenQ" makes me feel dirty...
Yeah, I dont think I'd be confortable to be a Benq camera.
i do really like the performance of my BENQ DC E600. it does help me a lot doing my part time jobs. What bothers me is that the battery always runs out quickly does putting my jobs in trouble especially during product shooting. I tried to checked with store where I bought my camera but they said there is no spare battery for sale. What must I do now if its battery will be totally out of service?
