I did a similar thing with my Gyration mouse (those blue curvy ones they had), although I didn't mount it to a gun (I don't have one to begin with) but just flipped it upside down so the left mouse button is in the trigger position and I taped the movement button so it always tracks movement while in game. I played through the Painkiller demo and it wicket fun, but my hand got pretty tired afterwards. Mounting it to a gun would be really awesome but I don't feel like risking the $100 mouse for that. A nice commercial product like this would be terrific!
