Samsung SGH-D800 slim slider reviewed

MobileBurn has done their usual thorough job in reviewing the super-slim Samsung SGH-D800 slider, deciding that it's definitely big on style but somewhat lacking on substance. On the surface, it seems that this 14.9mm-thin handset has everything the fashionista could want: 1.3 megapixel cam with unlimited video capture, TV out, MP3 playback, QVGA screen, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP goodness, and Office plus PDF document viewing. According to MobileBurn, it's the little things that keep this model -- which is very similar to the D807 -- from excelling; no vibrate function (although PhoneScoop refutes this), frustrating keypad, lack of 3G data, and no way to expand upon the internal 80MB of memory can make for a mixed user experience. Still, for a multi-functional phone that easy to tote to bars, club openings, and red carpet events, the D800 sounds like a decent contender.
